I have 15 years experience working in developing web based applications and 20 years experience working in the IT industry. I mainly work with/in Flex, ActionScript and ColdFusion, and the open source Arduino platform.

I'm an Adobe Community Professional for Flex and an Adobe certified Flex, AIR and ColdFusion developer and trainer in these courses.

I've run my own company Class Software for 15 years and teach at Dynamic Web Training and other venues.

I'm based in Sydney Australia but I'm currently spending a year overseas in Italy.

Last year I've spoken at WebDU (Sydney Australia), Flash Platform Code Camp Wellington (Wellington New Zealand), cf.Objective(ANZ) (Melbourne Australia), Edge of the Web (Perth Australia) and 360 MAX (Los Angeles USA). I'll also attended Adobe MAX (Los Angeles USA) and O'Reilly's Web 2.0 Summit (San Fransisco USA).

This year I've spoken at Arduino mini conference (Wellington New Zealand) part of the LAC2010, the Web Standards Group, 360 Flex (San Jose USA), cf.Objective() (Minneapolis USA), Webinale (Berlin Germany) and will be speaking at cf.Objective(ANZ) (Melbourne Australia).

I'l also attended WebDU, Flash and the City and will be attending 360 Flex (Washington DC USA).

In my spare time I take photos and play about with electronics.
